  1. Nine months later and:
    1. NO one is talking about Apple's M1 chip.
    2. I still haven't heard one person in the real world mention Apple's M1 chip.
    3. Apple's laptop market share remains at 7%-8%.
Further, proof most tech YouTubers are sponsored by Apple.

  2. 4 days ago I found myself in need of color correcting variable data, print ready PDFs. (Change this color to this color kind of command with PitStop Global Color Change function) Each PDF contained 64 thousand pages. I set one running in the office on 3.3Ghz 6 Core Intel Core i5 32Ram and took 4 files home to set them running on my new M1 8core 16Bg MacMini and M1 based New MacBook Air. On M1's tasks started around 4pm in the afternoon and in the morning I found them to be only at 1/3 completed. After arriving to the office – with my MacBook Air still processing the task at 1/3rd of progress bar – I found Intel-based iMac idle with the task accomplished. I let my M1 MacMini at home run the task for 30 hours – Task never accomplished… Now really not sure about M1 anymore… It made me really upset!!!

  3. With phones and tablets users were not able to use SD cards to expand memory and now they are doing the same with ram. Why are you guys making this company so rich when they are robbing you unnecessarily? Does this really make sense to you? open your eyes…

  4. What if Apple made a true gaming console. How much would it cost? $2,000 not including gaming headset or controller or a power brick? I know the phones, tablets, etc are kinda gaming machines now themselves but with the latest tech out now, I see Apple making a luxury gaming console possibly mostly towards the Apple Arcade users. Something super premium that 10 people are gonna buy and really overkill but an interesting experiment.

  5. The interesting thing though on Geekbench Mac Benchmark tests the single core M1 tests do show much higher results BUT the multi-core tests show LOWER than the Intel chips! For example a 2017 iMac Pro with Intel Xeon 3.2 Ghz 8 core outperforms a 2020 MacBook Pro M1 also 3.2 Ghz 8 core machine. These tests are submitted by actual users/members.

  6. I just got my first apple MacBook Air M1 1TB ssd with 16GB ram, 8C cpu /8C Gpu, I can literally say it bangs every single windows laptop. I was a mac hater before cuz of there OS. My SSD shows 3.2K read and 2.8K write speed and it works great when you use windows on mac. Takes it on whole new level😍.

  7. You are just repeating the presentation but not clearing anything.
There is a presentation in you tube where they explain the difference between CPU and ARM that powers the M1.
Watch it and you will learn the difference between them regarding size, processing power, battery consumption and how intructions are made.
    My 2 cents.
